Circle Wrap‑Up: Reflections From Our First Soul Warrior Circle
Mar 03, 2026Last Thursday night marked something special—the first Soul Warrior Circle—and I left the experience feeling deeply grateful.
Our small group created a safe, friendly space to explore some of my favorite ideas, images, and inner processes. There was an openness in the room that allowed real conversation, reflection, and connection to unfold naturally.
Teaching From Experience
Maybe it’s my age, or maybe it’s where I am in my career, but I feel increasingly called to teach what I’ve learned along the way. After more than thirty years of professional practice, I’ve gained clarity on what truly helps people understand—and gently shift—their inner lives.
My learning has been largely experiential. I’m far more street‑smart from lived experience than academic‑smart from books and journals. Because of that, I enjoy boiling complex concepts down into accessible language—ideas that people can actually use in their day‑to‑day lives.
The Inner Battle: Love and Fear
During our time together, we explored what I often describe as the battle between our love and fear wolves. This inner duality shows up in different ways for all of us.
We looked at three levels of understanding this dynamic:
-
Inner conflict – recognizing the tension between fear‑based and love‑based responses
-
Growth through challenge – using that conflict as a teacher rather than an obstacle
-
Transcending separation – moving beyond duality into deeper compassion and clarity
The conversation was rich, thoughtful, and grounded in real human experience.
Simple, But Not Always Easy
Several people commented on how simple the core principles of psychology‑spirituality really are. And I agree—at least conceptually.
While these ideas are not always easy to heal or change, they are simple at their core. Understanding them doesn’t require advanced degrees or complicated frameworks—just curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to look inward.
Mapping the Inner Landscape
I’ve always looked for clear maps to help navigate the inner landscape of our lives. Understanding these concepts is essential if we want to shift patterns, responses, and long‑held beliefs. Without a map, it’s easy to feel lost. With one, the journey begins to make more sense.
Looking Ahead
I look forward to sharing more—both in person and online—to help your healing journey feel clearer and flow more smoothly.
If this reflection resonates with you, you’re warmly invited to stay connected and hear about upcoming Soul Warrior Circles as they’re announced. Details and future topics will be shared on the website.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, and helped create such a meaningful first gathering.
