Finding stillness
Sep 21, 2025Stillness
A theme that keeps arising for me at present is the need for stillness. Peace. Calm. Moments resting in quiet in the midst of our hectic lives.
The world is changing rapidly as we go through these unprecedented energetic shifts. This makes time feel different, increases our stress levels, and triggers our shadow material.
If we are not in the eye of the storm, we can easily get swept up in the churning chaos within and around us. Like a centrifuge, if we are not in the centre we will feel strong pressure and pain. The g-forces from being out of alignment can be intense.
So, how are you finding some stillness each day? Some options are:
- Resting, napping, daydreaming
- Turning off devices and having quiet time, especially before bed
- Meditating, listening to gentle music or a guided process
- Sitting under a tree, lying on the grass or beach
- Focusing on the breath for a few minutes
- Affirmations, prayer, speaking intentions then listening for Source to respond
We need stillness more than ever right now. Without quiet moments, the external ‘busy’ and internal activations can make us completely disregulated and distressed.
With calm interludes, our nervous system can settle, our minds relax, and we can reconnect with our soul and Spirit. Therein lies the peace of God.
